Thomas Webb
CEO
Thomas is an experienced health informatics consultant, having worked exclusively for and with the NHS for over a decade. Thomas’ expertise lies in digital strategy, which he also teaches at Newcastle University. Thomas’ entire extended family work for the NHS, and so Thomas just loves the NHS and everything it stands for. If you cut him, we think his blood would be NHS blue!
Anne Cooper
Clinical Director
Widely experienced, having worked in health informatics for nearly 2 decades, Anne brings the clinical perspective to EHC. Her experience as a nurse colours the knowledge and skills she brings, coupled with her experience as a person with T1 Diabetes, creating a strong focus on patients and users. Anne is also a self-confessed human slave to her three cats.

Ex-NHS CIO Andy is a hugely respected name in digital healthcare. His pioneering work on shared care records and the professionalisation of informatics are highlights of a career that has seen him at the forefront of IT enabled change for 30 years. And he’s lovely too.

Judy Smith
COO
Judy has an impressive background and exceptionally strong track record and reputation within the Healthcare sector, including heading up an EPR provider’s software portfolio and various senior programme and operational roles. Judy lives and breathes Ethical’s commitment to being a learning organisation, recently achieving an MBA with distinction which included an award for her dissertation focussed on healthcare technology.
Shaun Holywell
Business Intelligence Analyst
Shaun’s expertise in logistics, customer service and staff training and development is a perfect fit for Ethical. A music tech graduate, Shaun spent 10 years in tourism and 2 years exploring Japan and New Zealand before joining the team. Not only exceptional in operations, but his training skills are also utilised on the piste, as he is a qualified ski instructor.
Matthew Roberts
Business Development Lead
Matthew has been working with NHS organisations for more than a decade and comes from a family of clinicians. A hockey captain and petrolhead, Matthew has a particular enthusiasm for interoperability. With a degree in Psychology and an interest in the human condition; he is grateful his career in digital transformation has given him the opportunity to experience such a wide variety of perspectives.
Ash Tailor
Senior Project Manager
Ultimate digital health all-rounder Ash Tailor brings years of industry experience to the Ethical family. Diligent, hard-working, and exceptionally talented, Ash has worked across the NHS and private sector and has a background in pharmacy. Ash is also a proud father to two boys.
Felix Williams
CTO
Felix has held senior positions in consulting, development and product organisations for over 25 years – almost entirely in healthcare. He’s a national programme alumnus, has led on both strategy and delivery nationally, at regional level, and with Trusts of all kinds/sectors. He has and continues to be seconded to NHSE in various senior architect roles and has worked directly with many of the biggest suppliers in UK healthcare. His specialisms are in interoperability & shared-care, data & analytics, and he is a digital diagnostics expert. His passion is to ‘do what works with a minimum of fuss’ – and to be kind while you’re about it.
