Ethical Healthcare, the consultancy founded in 2015 to deliver values-driven digital transformation for the NHS, has announced a leadership transition. From 1st October, Thomas Webb, Founder, steps back from his CEO role and Tracey Watson, formerly Director of Consulting, will take over the CEO position.
Thomas founded Ethical Healthcare in response to the issue of consultancies overcharging and underdelivering for the NHS. Ethical was created to be different – to support the NHS with integrity, expertise, and a genuine commitment to making things better for patients, staff, and systems. This will not change – Ethical is driven by impact, not profit.
Tracey will lead the team of NHS-rooted consultants and trusted associates who bring frontline experience and sector insights. Ethical Healthcare will continue to position itself as the NHS partner of choice to deliver transformation that sticks.
With the leadership transition comes a refreshed service offer all under the clear message: ‘We Are Ethical – Driven by Impact, Not Profit.’ The four core areas are:
- Transformation – delivering people-centred change that lasts
- Usability and Optimisation – improving the digital tools already in use
- Deployment – ensuring safer, smoother, and more cost-effective go-lives
- Innovation and Partnerships – helping suppliers break into the NHS faster and smarter
Thomas Webb, Founder, Ethical Healthcare Consulting said:
“After leading Ethical as Chief Executive since the beginning, I have decided it is now the right time to step back from the day-to-day CEO role. I will continue as Founder, continuing to champion Ethical across the sector.
“Ethical has never been about me — it has always been about us: a team of talented employees and associates committed to driving NHS transformation. That’s what makes me so excited about the future.”
Tracey Watson, CEO, Ethical Healthcare Consulting said:
“It is a privilege to be stepping into the role of Chief Executive at Ethical Healthcare. For me, Ethical has always stood for something different: values-led, people-first, and rooted in the realities of the NHS. I am proud to lead a team – employees and associates alike – who embody those values and deliver transformation that truly sticks.”
