Ethical Healthcare Consulting has been appointed to the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub.

The Hub

The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (the Hub) is a not-for-profit organisation that works in partnership and on behalf of the NHS to drive value and efficiencies and ultimately, improve patient care.

The Hub is deeply rooted in the regional procurement landscape. Since 2006, it has provided creative procurement solutions, strategic purchasing support and specialist knowledge to the NHS in the East of England locally, system-wide and regionally.

On a national level, the Hub is a partner in the NHS Workforce Alliance, the largest public procurement organisation in the UK, it delivers strategic procurement for all UK ambulance trusts, and works in partnership with the other NHS procurement hubs. It also has close ties with NHS England, the Central Commercial Function, the Department of Health and Social Care and HCSA, ensuring the NHS in the East of England has a voice on a national level.

Shared values

The Hub’s fundamental aim is to deliver value to the NHS whilst improving patient care. This is an ideal match with Ethical Healthcare’s ethos and mission to make a positive and meaningful social impact by working with people and clients with whom we share values, understanding and experience.

Collaborative consultancy

The Hub believes that collaboration is the key to delivering value for the NHS so we’re delighted to be appointed to five consultancy lots.

As part of The Hub, Ethical Healthcare will provide expertise and support in the following areas:

  • Sustainable services modelling, design and improvement
  • Strategy, system leadership, governance and integrated assurance
  • Commercial, financial and analytical-related advisory services
  • Communications and engagement delivery
  • Multi-disciplinary consultancy services

We have a strong track record of delivering projects in all five of these disciplines and we’re excited to work with more organisations in the East of England on their digital transformation programmes.
